Synopsis[]
A former high-school classmate of Fran's threatens to jump off a ledge unless she marries him.
Plot[]
While trying to convince Brighton to take his geeky science partner to the school dance, Fran runs into a high school classmate, now a cabdriver. She agrees to go out with him, and he proposes to her. When Fran declines, he threatens to jump out of the window unless Fran agrees to get Mr. Sheffield to read his play.

- Brighton agrees to go to the school dance with Brooke on Friday, then guilts Fran into going out with Jeffrey on Saturday, so why does Brooke pick up Brighton at the end of the episode, after Fran has gone on her date, when the dance was the day before?
