Biography[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Sara's early life.
Character[edit | edit source]
Sara is remembered quite fondly by the Sheffield family, described as a loving wife and mother. She appears to be a fun-loving and cheerful woman. She appears to have also had a strict side to her, as it is stated she was able to even intimidate Brighton into behaving.
Sara was considered a "lady of leisure" due to her husband's wealth, and enjoyed spending time in a local country club.
In The Wedding, it is revealed that Sara herself was the one sent Fran to the Sheffields in order to fill the void that was left after her death.
Character History[edit | edit source]
Sara married Maxwell and had three children with him, Maggie, Brighton and Grace. They lived a typical family life, until her sudden death, of which no details were given. Her death changed the lives of the Sheffield family. Grace created an imaginary friend, Imogenes, in order to cope with the loss of her mother, and ended up needing psychotherapy. Brighton acted out to get attention, Maggie became more withdrawn, C.C. would try to get Max to fall in love with her, and the latter would try to prevent his children from thinking about Sara so that they would not suffer. All of this behavior ruined the families relationship. Everything changed after Fran's arrival at the Sheffield house.
