Synopsis[]
The orphan who Fran and Val adopted for a primary school project looks them up while visiting the United States.
Plot[]
When a Cambodian woman that Fran and Val sponsored as a child visits New York and comes between the two friends, Fran fears she'll come between her and Maxwell, too.
Sylvia thinks Mai Ling will also come between Fran and Mr. Sheffield, but Fran finds out Mai Ling got engaged to Brighton to get a green card.
