"Fran Gets Shushed" is the sixth episode in the sixth season of the CBS sitcom The Nanny. It aired on the fourth of November, in 1998.
Synopsis[]
Fran covers for Maggie, who suspects that she is pregnant, but Maggie may not be the one hearing the patter of tiny feet.
Plot[]
Fran, Sylvia, and Yetta walk in on Maggie and Michael in bed together, and as Fran talks to them, Maxwell also walks in, and he orders Michael out of the house.
Later, Maggie tells Fran that she might be pregnant! Fran and Maggie work together on buying a home pregnancy test and hiding it from everybody, but once again Maxwell finds out and has them go see a gynecologist. The results come back negative for Maggie, but the doctor suspects Fran might be the one who's pregnant. She comes home very excited to share the news with Max, but before she does he tells her what a relief it is not to have a baby since he's not ready to share her yet. Fran decides to keep her secret.
