Synopsis[]
Nigel Sheffield, Maxwell's younger brother, visits from Paris. As sparks fly between him and Fran, Nigel, rather than Maxwell, pops the question to Fran, who agrees to join him in London.

- Fran's suggestion about Tom and Dickie Smothers, who were popularly known as The Smothers Brothers, having different personalities was later proven to be accurate. Despite the rebellious counterculture appeal both brothers had with their show The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, Tom was in reality the only of the two brothers who was more politically aligned with the counterculture and anti establishment movements.
- Tom Smothers revealed in 2006 that he and his brother Dick actually "have a lot of sincere differences," with Dick even being "more conservative politically."[1] Tom attributed their relationship, personally and professionally, as being based on their family love rather what than what their social and political beliefs were, further stating that their ideological differences were a key part of their ability to maintain their renowned professional act.[1]
